The Daily Run, and a horde that reads the room
One seed for everyone each day, curse shrines for the brave, and a few hands up for anyone having a rough night.
There's a Daily Run now. Flip the DAILY RUN switch on the character select and you get the same seed as everyone else that day, on Normal, with its own board on the High Scores screen and on the website. Keep a streak going and a chest is waiting for you at the start of the next one.
The horde has a director. It builds the pressure, lets it peak, then gives you a breather before it builds again. It only changes how many come and how fast, never how hard they hit.
Get good at dodging and the game notices. Slip out of a slam in the last instant and you Bonk Back, and every perfect dodge feeds a hot streak. Curse shrines in the woods let you take on extra Heat for bigger rewards, run contracts give you something to chase, and a pace ghost shows you how your best run was doing at this minute.
Having a rough night? Second Wind can pick you up once when you go down (there's a setting if you'd rather it didn't), and the results sheet tells you just how close you came.
